Riley grew up outside Boston, Massachusetts and graduated from Syracuse University with a dual Bachelor of Arts in Policy Studies and Illustration Photography in 2010.

After college, Riley taught elementary art in Weldon, NC as a Teach For America, Eastern North Carolina corps member. Following her TFA commitment, she taught art for two more years in New Hanover County.

Looking for the opportunity to impact more students, Riley joined Centervention in June 2015 as Customer Success Manager, becoming Director of Marketing in January 2017. Riley created all of the game resources on the website, the classroom management plan, the supplemental lessons and activities, and emails our mailing list with a new resource once a week.

Riley most recently wrote the storyline and dialogue for our newest game, Zoo Academy, for K-1 students.

When she’s not creating content or helping an educator, you can find Riley photographing weddings and portraits, binge watching TV, listening to true crime podcasts, or coaching Girls on the Run.

Favorite Centervention Game to Play: S.S. GRIN (but she may be biased towards Zoo Academy when it’s completed!)
